The Commons Education Committee has today announced an inquiry into Personal, Social, Health and Economic education and Sex and Relationships Education. The Committee has asked for written submissions by the 6th of June on the following questions:
Welcoming the inquiry, PSHE Association Chief Executive Joe Hayman said:
“The Committee is asking all the right questions about PSHE education and at the right time, so we look forward to working with our members and colleagues across the PSHE community over the coming weeks on our response to the inquiry. Ofsted said last year that PSHE education was ‘not yet good enough’; we hope the Committee will help us to improve that position.”
We'll be in touch with members with more information on responding to the inquiry soon, in the meantime you can read more about inquiry and what it entails here.
